
Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 – 1 day
Introduction to the course
This Paediatric Accredited Level 3 course is in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981.

Assessments:
Practical assessments are carried out during the day. Candidates must demonstrate competence in the following:
-
recovery position
-
cardiopulmonary resuscitation & AED
-
external bleeding and shock
-
choking
Candidates must also complete a 15 question multi-choice test paper.
Certification:
On passing the assessments and the multiple choice paper each candidate will be issued a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Accredited Certificate. The certificate is valid for 3 years. Under the current guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.
