First Aid at Work Re-Qualification Level 3 – 2 days
This course is a two-unit, two-day re-qualification course and allows for re-certification of First Aid at Work Level 3 qualified staff. By arrangement the course can be run on non-consecutive days, for example – one day a week over two weeks.
The criteria are the same as for the initial three-day course.

Unit 1 covers the following topics:

Assessment: The assessment regime has changed:

Candidates must demonstrate competence in first-aid procedures by practical assessments on –

the management of a casualty:
-
who is unresponsive and breathing normally (recovery position)
-
who is unresponsive and not breathing normally (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
-
with external bleeding and who is in shock

who is choking
-
-
management of fractures
-
secondary survey
-
-
Complete 2 multi-choice test papers.
The practical assessment is conducted by trainers on the day.
Upon successful completion certification is valid for three years.
Please note: candidates attending this course must be in possession of a valid (not out of date by more than 28 days) First Aid at Work certificate.
Revalidation This 2 day course needs to be retaken every three years. Courses attended must be within 10 days of certificate expiry date.
Price includes a manual, course materials, exam fees and on successful completion, a Level 3 certification which is valid for 3 years
